Costs & Breakdowns
- $3979 per person from New Orleans (Air/land tour price is $3459 plus $520 government taxes/airline surcharges)
- Reservations may be secured upon payment of a deposit.
- A $500 deposit is due with your reservation.
- Final payment is due at NAWAS 100 days prior to departure date.
- The pilgrimage is hosted by Fr. Decker and facilitated by Nawas International Travel Service, Inc.
- A reservation can be secured by filling out the reservation form at the end of the tour brouchure and mailed to Fr. Decker. More information can be found in the tour brochure.
- The Deadline for registrations to be mailed into Fr. Decker is November 23, 2022.

An Invitation to Prayer, History, and Adventure!
Dear Friends,I wish to invite you on a spiritually inspiring pilgrimage to Italy! In addition to Italy’s timeless art and architecture, its prominence as the center of Christianity in the West with its churches and saints makes it an essential destination for disciples of Jesus Christ. Going on pilgrimage to the places where our Faith grew from the activity of The Apostles helps to deepen our relationship with Christ and His Church.
Our pilgrimage takes us to Venice, the city of waterways, gondolas and picturesque bridges where we will visit the Basilica of St. Mark with its magnificent mosaics expressing the story of faith, the Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
We then travel to Florence, home to Michelan-gelo’s David and the finest collection of Renaissance art in the world. The next stop is the small hilltop city of Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis. Here we will visit the Basilica of St. Francis, the Church of St. Clare and Santa Maria degli Angeli with its “thornless rose bush”.
We’ll end our pilgrimage in Rome, the Eternal City, an artistic and historical gift to the world. We’ll visit Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. We will see Michelangelo’s original frescoes in the Sistine Chapel including the famous Last Judgment and the Creation of Man. The highlight of our visit will be an Audience with Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, if he is in Rome at the time.
