“To always be close to JESUS, that's my life plan.”
Blessed Carlo Acutis
The consistent support of the Blessed Carlos Acutis Club provides our online streaming services to our ever changing world. Some of our expenses are: IT services, maintenance of the computers and other media devices, fees to cover the many media platforms we employ to reach as many viewers and listeners as possible, various internet services, the electricity to keep all this running.
Our thanks and prayers. Members of the Blessed Carlo Acutis Club and their petitions are prayed for at the CCMedia monthly Staff Mass and Rosary.
Catholic Community Media’s Blessed Carlo Acutis Club members are social media followers who donate $10 a month to our apostolate, making up the backbone of our operating and future development expenses.
Who is Blessed Carlo Acutis?
Born May 3, 1991, Carlos Acutis held a special love for God and was devoted to the Mother of God and prayed the Rosary daily. As a teenager Carlo was a gamer and computer programmer who loved soccer and the Eucharist. At age 15, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Offering up his suffering for others coping with illness he said, “I offer all the suffering I will have to suffer for the Lord, for the Pope, and the Church.” Carlos died October 12, 2006. His cause for canonization began in 2013 and he was designated “Venerable” in 2018. A healing miracle has been attributed to his intercession and he was designated “Blessed” October 10.
"Yesterday in Assisi, Carlo Acutis, a fifteen-year-old boy in love with the Eucharist, was beatified. He did not settle into comfortable inaction, but grasped the needs of his time because in the weakest he saw the face of Christ.”
